This city is our actor Jack McMullen has had his part of exciting experiences in his career, but his biggest highlights are demonstrably still from supporting Liverpool.
Because he was a child in the Soap Opera Brookside, McMullen has been a recognizable face in the creative scene of Liverpool.
However, it was the success of the BBC drama that this city is ours, in which he appears as one of the main characters, who saw him becoming nationally.
To make his 2025 even better, the program was broadcast when the Reds pushed to their 20th league title, a trophy McMullen saw Virgil van Dijk personally.
We spoke with actor Jack McMullen (@Jackmcmullen91) to find out more about his Liverpool-supporting life …
I started to support Liverpool because …
I started supporting Liverpool because of my father. All my mother is all blues, so I have to thank him for that!
The first game I went to was …

I think it was Middlesbrough at home when I was about 14 years old.
I can’t remember the game, but I will never forget the first time that I got up the stairs in the stadium because you will never walk alone.
I walked into this wall of noise and immediately got goose bumps. I was addicted from there.
My favorite season that supports Liverpool is …

It is perhaps a controversial because Man City has just off the competition, but during that 2018/19 season we were unstoppable.
We blow teams away for fun. You just had the feeling that we could beat someone and we had that unforgettable night in Anfield when we made the comeback against Barcelona.
I couldn’t get a flight to Madrid for the final of the Champions League, so I and a few friends drove all the way there.
Experiencing that day and night in Madrid was something I will never forget. It is a special season to get 97 points in the competition and to win the Champions League.
Have you met faces from the history of Liverpool thanks to your acting career?

I was lucky to meet some people from the club when I recently did an advertisement for Google Pixel and Liverpool.
Kenny Dalglish was also part of the advertisement, so I met him and had to introduce him to my father who was surrealistic.
If you could go back to a game and experience it again, what would it be?
It is a difficult, either Istanbul or the Barcelona game 2018/19. I think the Barca game just focuses because we were at home.
If I could keep a dinner with three people from the history of Liverpool, I would choose …

Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley and Jurgen Klopp.
