Mackin has spent most of his career as a professional MMA fighter with Fury Fighting Championship. He has spent his entire career in the United States, most of it in his home state of Texas. He defeated Nico Echeverry at Fury FC 76 via unanimous decision to secure his only decision victory as a professional.
At Fury FC Challenger Series 4, Macklin choked Raymond Cardenas via rear naked choke in the second round, earning the fourth submission victory of his professional career.
