Academy Match Report: Wolves U18S 0-4 Manchester United U18S – Man United News and Transfer News | The people person

Manchester United U18S visited the Sir Jack Hayward training field on Saturday morning to compete against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Darren Fletcher looked to continue his perfect start to the season, came in the game with five victories of five in all matches and to give another goal.

First half

United came from the gates with JJ Gabriel and Amir Ibragimov who subsequently subsequently put the ball in the net, but it was excluded for offside.

Ibragimov played a giving and going with Gabriel before he flicked the ball and fell along the keeper with what a certain goal of the season was if it had been.

Wolves also threatened United’s goal early with a deep cross that was reached on the volley and needed a strong hand from Fred Heath to control danger.

But it was the combination of Gabriel and Ibragimov again that United gave the lead in the 12th minute.

Junior Brown went inside to Ibragimov, who found Gabriel with a one -off pass in the box for Gabriel to over the keeper in Dink with a delicious delicate finish.

The weather made a bend for the wide open training ground, which resulted in the free -flowing football that took a bit of a rear seat in the extreme windy and rainy conditions.

It took until the last minute of half for United to double their lead with a gift from the Wolves keeper, Alfie Arnold.

The efforts of James Bailey from outside the box that should have been a routine slips under the keeper and in the goal.

Less than a minute later, another mistake by Wolves Samuel Lusale allowed to race over the top after a long ball and to make the 0-3 to go into the break.

Second half

Wolves seemed to respond from the restart with a considerable attempt by Mason Stevens on the edge of the box, but Fred Heath did exceptionally well to go down quickly and make the salvation.

The home team found it difficult to keep track of the fast feet of Ibragimov, which resulted in a number of errors at the United Captain.

Another late challenge came in on Ibragimov who sparked the ball before he hit the tackle to prevent contact, but the referee waved with a yellow card for simulation.

A call that Fletcher AppoPlectic left on the sidelines and Ibragimov was replaced shortly thereafter to save him for next week’s Manchester Derby.

Before change, however, United Sealed the victory with the first goal of Nathaniel Junior Brown at U18S level. An excellent touch by Gabriel took him through the defenders of two wolves before he went to Brown before the finish.

The victory takes United Top of the Table with five victories of five in the competition for Manchester City who do not play this week.

The two Manchester parties meet each other next Saturday in Carrington in a potential title decision maker.
