AC Milan is said to make a bid for Chelsea attacker Christopher Nunku in the last days of the summer transfer window.
The International of France wants to secure an exit from Stamford Bridge after he has had no impact in the Premier League.
Nunku, who only made nine starts in the top flight last season, is connected to Aston Villa, Bayern Munich and a possible return to RB Leipzig.
AC Milan for preparing an offer
Milan hopes to beat them all to the blow, with Fabrizio Romano First report that they “had closed contact to explore a deal” for the player.
Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna has provided more details about the possible relocation and claims that the Italian outfit has “almost reached” a contractual agreement with Nunku.
The Rossoneri would ‘prepare’ a transfer bid between € 30-40 million. When the deal comes, the 27-year-old will sign a contract until 2030.
Villa and Leipzig are not yet out of the race, because both clubs “want to propose a permanent transfer”. Inter Milan is also linked to a movement.
Bayern Munich hoped to sign Nunku on loan, but Chelsea is only interested in a permanent deal. A loan offer with an obligation to buy the Bundesliga champions was rejected by the blues.
The German giants “push”, however, still for a deal to sign Nicolas Jackson, according to Romano. Chelsea “wants to wait” until the future of Alexander Isak is arranged before he decides on the “best option” for the striker, which suggests that they hope that a better deal will come close to Monday’s deadline.
