Abraham Sellado fought in the last 16 at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje before he went to a higher Polish player, while Sienna Jetha is also out.
The competition is the first time that both younger Britain represent, in a tournament with a few talented and high-ranking players from all over Europe.
Sellado started with a 3-1 win over Konstantinos Fakaros van Greece, but was then beaten in four by Mark USOV van Zweden.
He took his place in the knockout phase with a comfortable victory over Urban Janc of Slovenia and then switched Malik Severinsen van Denmark in the last 32, after he saw his opponent coming back from 2-0 and 3-2 to force a decision-maker.
Sellado, ranked on no 198 on the Junior List, faced World No 87 Patryk Zyworonek of Poland in the last 16 and his opponent was not in the mood to get him a foot in the game and hit the winner in four rights.
Jetha, ranked outside the Top 600 Under-19S in the world, was signed in the same group as world no. 46 Junior Katarzyna Rajkowska van Polen, to whom she lost 3-0 after a narrow match.
Her progress of the three-playing group was hanging to beat Amanda ASP van Zweden and although Jetha led 2-0, ASP came back to win in five.
Sellado & Jetha worked together for the mixed Doubles and went to Alvaro Orna & Silvia Dominguez of Spain in the first round.
