Aaron Judge launched a solo -homer after meeting President Trump in the clubhouse of Yankees before the game against the Tigers on Thursday.
And two frames later Judge went deep again.
The Yankees Slugger sent his 45th home run of the 413 feet season to the left field in the second half of the first inning to give New York a 1-0 lead.
In the third inning, Judge crushed his second home run of the night to even attract the legendary Joe Dimaggio for fourth place on the list of home runs of the Yankees of all time with 361 total dingers.
The Thuis Run arrived less than an hour after the judge had shaken hands with Trump, who was in the Bronx to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 11 September.
Trump visited the clubhouse and shook the hands of every player who was there, including Judge.
