One day after Aaron Judge started his hit progression, the Yankees -Superster took another step in his recovery from a right elbow flexor voltage.

Tim Hill, who took the victory by throwing a perfect 11th, was originally on a down day after throwing two of the last three games.

He has not allowed a deserved point in 25 of his last 30 performances.


The Yankees have activated JC Escarra to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Pregame to free up space for outfielder Austin Slater, who makes Ben Rice The back -up catcher for now.
