In the days after our availability incident in July, our team shared the details about what happened, what we learned and the immediate steps we take to strengthen our systems.

The honest, direct and deeply involved reactions That message were a reminder of how much our customers give to web flow and the work that we do together. Thank you for keeping us a high standard.

Today we look ahead.

We accelerate various important product and infrastructure investments that are designed to make web flow more resilient, safer and more performance than ever. Some of these have been in flight for months. Others are quickly followed or extensively in size. They all share a common goal: give you confidence in the platform on which you trust to build, launch and scales your most important work.

Although our team constantly applies small but powerful performance improvements to the platform, such as an upcoming improvement to load times in the dashboard, we thought it could be useful to share some insight into the larger initiatives that we have planned.

There is a look at what you can expect.

Persistent investments in resilient infrastructure for hosted sites

Last year our hosting infrastructure started the Cloudflare Global NetworkWhich includes more than 330 cities in more than 125 countries and directly connects with around 13,000 networks, including every large ISP, cloud provider and company.

We started using the Cloudflare Content Delivery Network (CDN) to operate static assets, such as images, on all hosted websites. Nowadays, this CDN supplies more than 98% of all static assets for hosted sites of the Cloudflare Network Edge, which guarantees fast and reliable downloads. If you have published a website on WebFlow in the past year, this CDN uses.

We continued to improve our hosting infrastructure by moving safe connections on our network to Cloudflare. This change not only improves performance and uptime, but also offers the best protection against malignant traffic through Cloudflare’s DDOS mitigation services of world class.

For every webflow-hosted website that has been made since April 21, 2025, you already use the latest Cloudflare CDN and Secure SSL/TLS connections. For websites made before this date, and from an abundance of caution given the wide variety of hosting and reverse-pro-configurations on the internet, we have developed in-product migration support to bring these sites to the latest infrastructure.

To support teams in bringing their sites to the latest infrastructure, we have developed support in product migration.

Although much of the Backend migration has already been completed, we will start asking for customers in the coming weeks with sites that were built before April 21, 2025 to update their adapted domain settings via the web flow dashboard to fully benefit from the use of Cloudflare’s Network.

Unlock scale by re -architecting the web flow CMS

WebFlow’s CMS has long been a cornerstone of how marketers, designers and developers build up dynamic, in -case experiences without sacrificing creative control. As your teams and their needs have grown, however, your content activities have become much more complex.

To ensure that we evolve with you, our team has been working hard to transform our CMS. This is the largest architectural update for our CMS since the launch, and it has been designed to unlock even more super powers for your teams and to ensure that your data is stored and delivered in the most performance, resilient way that is possible.

With this fundamental investment, the WebFlow CMS can be scaled with your goals -even supportive even the most complex data models and ensure that your content is delivered in scaled and reliable ways on your web flow sites, our headless CMS api’s and wherever your content has to be displayed.

This is what these updates will help us unlock:

  • Custom storage capacity and flexibility for large, complex data sets So high-quality teams can store and structure their CMS data as their company demands today, and as their needs evolve in the future.
  • More scalable content delivery about channels, Including more efficient and accurate search, sorting and filter options, both within the CMS of WebFlow and via our headless APIs.
  • Increased flexibility when designing with CMS data, Including considerably increasing the ceiling on collection lists per page and nested collection listsSo you can make adapted, in -case experiences to achieve your goals without restrictions or performance problems.

We will migrate all web flow customers to this new, modernized architecture early next year, and we will share more details on Webflow confl In September.

Intelligent protection and performance in a changing web

While the web continues to evolve, especially with the Traffic grow from LLM bots And automated agents, we make strategic investments to help your sites protect your sites with the goal of offering bone management and control of the best in-class, so that you can retain the performance, security and integrity of your sites and content, regardless of what they crawl.

Our team recently added LLMS.TXT Support to help you determine how search engines and AI bots deal with your site and we will continue to work on new functions to help manage how your content is accessible, reused and indexed by AI -to carry out control as bone -traffic becomes more complex and harder to manage.

Smarter spam filtering and form rules

Last year we started using Form Spam protection for all customers by using Cloudflare Tournique. This technology verifies that web visitors of your site are real and blocks unwanted bots without introducing friction or to delay the experience for users.

To supplement this position, we will launch new Form Management Tools later this year. These improvements give you a deeper control over how forms are configured and how form spam is handled.

With a new spamin box you can view, manage and repair form submissions that are marked as spam.

This update unlocks new settings at form level, giving you the option to configure key settings, such as recipients of notifications, enable webhooks, integrate with native apps and adjust it independently of any form of SPAM settings for each form.

Moreover, we will improve your visibility and control over form data by introducing a new spamin box where you can revise, manage and get back submissions that are marked as spam.

These updates give you better control over your forms, so that you can respond to real users and keep a clean data pipelines during your website experience.

Enterprise-Grade Governance and Control

Finally, as more large organizations build and grow with WebFlow, we invest in functions that meet their developing needs for governance, adjustment and protection on a scale. From secure team management to permissions at content level, our goal is to give Venture Customers trust and flexibility over every surface of their activities.

SCIM user supply

SCIM Provisioning ensures automated onboarding and off -boarding by your identity provider

For the and admin teams, managing access to scale must be seamless and safe. With SCIM Provisioning, WebFlow now supports automated users onboarding and off -boarding through your identity provider. This reduces manual work, ensures that the right people always have access to the right sources and supports compliance with business quality.

SCIM Provisioning is available today for all Enterprise customers.

CMS -Collection Access Check

Currently in private beta, access control at collection level managers specify which team members or partners can edit which collections

We also bring more detailed content permissions to the CMS. With access control at collection level (currently in private beta), managers can indicate which team members or partners can edit which collections offer from safer cooperation, better workflows and faster publication cycles for editorial teams.

This update is especially powerful for agencies, enterprise marketing teams and content activities that require both speed and control.

These functions build on our recent releases such as Custom roles and the Auditlogi -ApiAnd represent the next step in making web flow the best platform for teams that work on a scale, without sacrificing usability or speed.

Look forward

Our focus goes beyond stability – we are evolving the web flow to the most resilient, empowering platform for the next generation of digital experiences.

In the coming weeks and months you will see that we continue to roll out product improvements that strengthen resilience, security and performance, while you remain focused on the creative freedom and flexibility that our platform has always defined.

And we can’t wait to share even more when we get up the stage WebFlow Conf on September 17.
Until then, thanks for building with us. We are more committed than ever to deliver a platform that is just as ambitious, reliable and future -oriented as you are.
