A spokesperson for the European Commission said that there were currently no indications for a “widespread or serious attack” and that the origin of the incident was still being investigated.
Who was behind the attack?
Rafe Pilling, director of threat information at CyberSecurity Company Sophos, said that the impact of the incident emphasized “the fragile and mutually dependent nature of the digital ecosystem that supports air travel”.
Various websites for following infringement have previously said that Collins Aerospace was hit by Ransom-seeking hackers in 2023.
