The American presence at ONE 173 extends beyond Christian Lee’s lightweight title defense as ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo returns for his second mixed martial arts appearance against undefeated Japanese fighter Shozo Isojima in a lightweight MMA bout.
The 22-year-old wrestling phenom turned heads with his spectacular victory over Adrian “The Phenom” Lee in September, announcing his arrival as a legitimate MMA threat.
The historic evening will also feature the ONE Championship Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Myanmar sports icon and former two-division champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang, who lives in the United States.
