9 ways to play chores faster

Simple steps to play golf quickly

1. Tee quickly off

If someone who plays the forward T-pieces, I usually do not have the opportunity to go first when I play with group members who play a longer set of T-pieces. So I often wait for those play partners to get themselves together to go. This can sometimes take a long time. There is no reason why you are not ready to hit the tee immediately upon arrival. And as soon as a player starts things, he generally motivates the rest of the group to get into gear.

2. Write your score on the next tee

Avoid the tendency to record your score on the same greenery that you have just completed. Instead, do it instead while counting your play partner on the next hole.

3. Don’t be afraid to fall and walk

I see it all the time: a group that is committed to taking around to the ball of each player, in playing order, traversing the fairway and taking it forever. You don’t need a gallery from your play partners to view every shot that touches you. And don’t be afraid to put your play partner at their ball and pick them up after you hit, or vice versa. If you are in 100 meters, you also walk to the Green with an extra club or two while the other person are driving around the cart.

4. Play Ready Golf

This is clear, but must be said. Unless you are in the club championship and play Honors Golf, you will hit when you are ready. If your partner is further from the green than you and takes forever and you are ready to go with your ball, just go! Especially around the green.

5. Invest in a remote device

During most of my young golf years I was a walk-it-off player when it came to Yardage. But that is not conducive to quickly golf. That was slow, 6-hour, waiting-to-overal college golf. A few years ago I received a GPS golf guard and the use was a game change. Yardage -measurement is immediately, leading to fast club selection and shot performance.

6. Leave the pin inside

This is something that I think most people feel at ease since the rule of the 2019 rule, but it is very useful for fast wave. Do not waste time pulling the pin.

7. Putt until you end

Perhaps this is controversial, but I don’t think casual rounds require the ceremony for cleaning, marking and reading extensively of each putt. Unless there is visible mud on the ball, just touch it! Look at the break of the putt, but do not spend centuries by reading it. And if it is within five feet, just finish and continue.

8. Take 1 practice wing – Max!

Golf is tiring and playing in extreme heat is especially the case. Do not waste energy by taking multiple practice fluctuations. Take a maximum of one – and nobody is ok too.

9. Stop searching for golf balls

If you lose your ball, one reconnaissance drive is sufficient. If it is not immediately visible, hit or drop again. Please don’t waste the time of everyone looking for a ball.
