Things looked somewhat better for the Philadelphia 76ers who entered the training camp until the basketball gods decided to give them another obstacle that they had to free up. Jared McCain, who looked forward to fans, after his impressive Rookie campaign was demolished, will miss the early part of the regular season after a UCL -Tour on its thumb.

Because McCain has completely recovered from his knee injury, this is simply too brutal of a setback. Of course, he should not be out for a huge part of the season, but he will come to the campaign -cold and without much excitement thanks to the companion he will have to accept while he brought himself back from this new injury.

Philly had already imagined that McCain functioned as one of their most important weapons in the defense half, but that will of course be during a break until further notice. But given the current situation of the team, losing the incoming second -year injury will simply make things even grim and harder to tolerate.

The coaching staff will now have to replace the place of McCain in the rotation. However, the 76ers do not really have a great candidate to fill his shoes for the time being. The most likely result is that the coaching staff will probably give minutes to a washed -up veteran such as Kyle Lowry.

With the team with a lack of point guards beyond Tyrese Mxey, Nick Nurse and his staff will probably give consistent minutes to Kyle Lowry next season, at least to kick things off.

Playmaking is a real problem for this team, and to trot the All-Star as their only guard who can create for others is a dangerous proposition. Of course, nobody would pins with their right mind as a fixed part of the rotation, but again, it is not as if the team is teeming with options at the moment.

There will be many complaints with this imminent movement, and for a good reason. At this point in his career, Lowry is nothing but a dressing room presence, and he is Absolutely not in playing formAs can be from his media aging performance.

Hopefully McCain will return as soon as possible, although the 76 people cannot hurry the process. It’s just that the team desperately needs him, and an alternative like Lowry is just not cutting.
