Doubting the ability of this team to make a huge leap enough to satisfy the so -called comeback (if not revenge) may be understandable. After all, the 76 people still have the DNA of a ball club that just ended with the fifth-stringest record in the competition, and even after just a few outings of the season, their problems from a year ago existed.
What is even more important, however, the most important backbone of the grandiose plans of the 76 people for this season depends on a wild whimsical state – health and the injury bug. Philadelphia is perhaps the most mercurial team of the competition in the health department, and that alone makes their foot much more careful compared to those teams that are as talented as they are.
That said, making a general explanation that the 76 people never had a title window with Embiid at the helm, is clearly random, if not downright Farcical. This team has been conducting for a while, and more often than not, the problem rested with things outside the superstar control, ie his sidekicks that turn on the team, injuries at the worst possible times, front office erosion, and the list continues.
Of course, Embiid is not exactly someone who needs to be inoculated from the debt, but the 76 people do not come to their consistent successful level (except last season) without Embiid as a pilot. Be pessimistic about their shot to reclaim their place in the circle of the winner, certainly. But at least what happened last season, his oeuvre as a whole should not make invalid.
