76ers are confronted with scary back while Paul George drops the discouraging injury

The Philadelphia 76ers collected mixed reviews in the aftermath of their media day. Although fans have absolutely received a lot of information and updates about the current status of players and the remaining plans of the Front Office, some of those pieces were certainly not what fans wanted to hear from them.

One of those negative updates came from Paul George, who revealed that because of his early knee injury that encouraged him to undergo an operation in the summer, he will not be an active participant in the training camp, so that it was called for him to even miss the start of the regular season, which will open within a few weeks.

But apart from that simple update, George has further exploded that There is actually no timeline for his returnA huge cloud of throwing his real progress. During the Mediadag he told members of the media that he can do everything except contact work, but he hinted that he could be indefinitely, is just a worse proposition than that.

Even worse, this places the 76 people comparable to what they experienced last season when they immediately sputtered from the gate on their way to ending with a low 24-58 Win-Loss card. Now, are the spirits of the not so distant past back to chase them?

76ers are confronted with grim prospects with Paul George who is reinforcing the disaster of last season

This was exactly the same pattern that the 76ers were confronted with the nine times All-Star last season. George missed a huge part of the earlier part of their campaign, so he suddenly returned to a really cold form while struggling with shooting the ball for the entire season.

George is a rhythm player and his playing style requires that he is acclimatized to the attacking design of the team before he gets really comfortable as making a playing option. But with him already planned to possibly miss a considerable number of games, there is nothing that prevents the same possibility to happen again.

If so, George and the 76 people are sewn. Philly already has a shortage of playable options at Forward, and not someone like George who has experience with functioning as an all-round hub, attacking the coaching staff to resort to more one-dimensional options such as Kelly Oubre.

Fortunately, the 76 people look at a more modest schedule to start their season. Yet there is every reason for fans to hope that Paul George will return as soon as possible and that his tag “no timeline for return” does not refer to something anymore.
