The San Francisco 49ers Quarterback situation for their coming week 2 match against the New Orleans Saints may not be Purdy. 49ers Start Quarterback Brock Purdy sustained a left shoulder and toe injuries during the 17-13 week 1 victory of the team at the Seattle Seahawks. The 49 people did not specify what exactly happened to these body parts. But on Monday, their head coach Kyle Shanahan Has indicated the following: “I would probably say that the toe is worse than the shoulder … We have to see how it heals and how the week goes.” And two days later, on Wednesday, Shanahan called Purdy’s opportunities to play in New Orleans ‘A Long Shot’.
Purdy’s status depends on which toe and which part of his toe is injured
That is not encouraging, but is also Purdy non-specific. The seriousness, healing and availability of Purdy’s toe will depend strongly on which toe is injured and which specific part of the toe has been injured. In March I described in Forbes Different ways in which different parts of your feet can be injured. That’s because Tiktoker dropped heavy objects on their likes. Well, your toes are part of your feet and have the same five large components that include your feet: namely bones, ligaments that connect the bones over the toe connections, cartilage in the toe connections, soft tissue and nails. Just as Tiktokers seem to demonstrate, none of these indestructible. Each can be damaged in different ways.
Teenbots can be broken
Take the bones in your toes, for example. Your toe bones are known as fingers. Four of your toes – actually the small pigs that roast beef had, had no and cried “Woe! Woe! Woe!” All the way home – each have three fingers: the proximal, middle and distal. The big exception is your big toe, also known as the Hallux, the big piggy or the piggy that went to the market. It has two fingers, a proximal and a distal one, as can be seen in the following diagram:

Such bones can be broken in different ways. At one end of the spectrum, stress fractures, which are very small, are often described as hairline fractures that are the result of repetitive power and banging on the bone over time. On the other side of the spectrum are fractions that take place when a single power application is exerted on the bone. This power can be something heavy to fall on your toe or press your toe as an anvil, fridge or defensive lineman or your toe is turned in an uncomfortable way.
When such fractures result in a piece of the bone that does not slip into place, the fracture is considered moved. A displaced fracture often requires surgical correction because otherwise the bone will not cure in the correct position. Surgery is usually also necessary when the fracture is open, which means that the bone has somehow penetrated the skin versus a closed break where it is not.
When the break is not explained, the large treatment is usually time and rest to cure. A simple toe fracture usually takes four to six weeks to heal. This goes up to six to eight weeks when the break is more complex. Large toe fractures can take longer, because your large Piggy has to support more weight.
Teenbots can be disrupted
A toebot can also be disrupted. This is when a bone is beaten out of his joint, partly or complete. If your joint goes a rocking in such a way, you want to reduce the dislocation-which means that the bone comes back into place as quickly as possible to prevent further damage. A closed reduction is when you manipulate the toe to put the bone back in his joint without cutting the skin in any way. An open reduction is when you have to do it surgically. Of course, when it comes to such reductions, you want someone who knows what he or she is doing. If someone gets a broth, shallots and butter, tell the person that it is the wrong type of reduction
When a toe disposal is reduced quickly and smoothly, you can resume within a day or two regular activities. However, you can keep a more serious dislocation or one in the big toe out of use for longer – up to eight weeks. Even when a dislocation is reduced, the joint can remain unstable. It is a good idea to be followed by a doctor.
Toe ligaments can be torn apart
Remember that Natalie Imbruglia number with the text: “Nothing is fine, I am torn.” Well, this may apply when you tear your toe samples, the tires of connective tissue that help connect the tow bones to each other and the rest of your foot and hold the toe connections in place. A toe sprain is when you stretch or tear such a ligament. One classic football injury is called Turf, a sprain of the ligaments that connect the basis of your large toe joint. The severity of a sprain depends on how much of the affected ligament is torn. A toe sprain that is a partial tear usually takes three to six weeks to heal. A complete tear of a ligament may require surgery to reinforce the ligament.
The soft tissue and the nails of toes can be damaged
Then there is all that stuff that surrounds the bones in your toes, the stuff that helps you bring downs on the market. Damage the soft tissues and blood vessels that run through can lead to bruising and bleeding. Friction and pressure can ensure that the soft tissue becomes thicker, resulting in corns and calluses. You can also be nailed on your toes, which can eventually tear or otherwise your nails, which can also be large Ouchies.
Purdy was detained from Wednesday’s practice

It is difficult to tell for sure how long Purdy can be set aside without knowing about his toe injury. But calling Purdy is called a “long shot” for Sunday and Wednesday not practicing, does not predict super well. If the 25-year-old Purdy could not go, his replacement would be the second series of QB, Mac Jones, who played for the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. Shanahan has also indicated that the 49 people are now on the market for another quarterback, which suggests that the 49 people may not have a “teen” language that Purdy will return soon.
