Tucker has had bad luck with injuries the past two seasons, but has hit 55 home runs in 214 games over the past two years.
“It goes without saying that Tucker, when healthy, is one of the best hitters in the league,” said an MLB executive. told ESPN. “Pair him with other good hitters like he had in Houston, and he’s even better.”

According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the Los Angeles Dodgers — who are not a team known for signing top free agents — remain interested in landing Tucker. With a relative weakness in the outfield, the Dodgers could easily justify bringing in one of the league’s best right fielders in Tucker.
According to Feinsand’s reporting, the Dodgers, Yankees and Mets are interested in Tucker, although the Toronto Blue Jays appear to be in the lead as the four-time All-Star already visited their player development complex in Florida earlier this month.
