A year ago, Vikings fans expected that the team would surpass their 6.5-win gambling line from the preseason, but nobody could have expected a 14-win campaign from the Kevin O’Connell operation. This year the Win -Totaal is being set higher, but still not near Super Bowl -Statement.
3 reasons to be optimistic about the 2025 Vikings
Although the voices that a super bowl of Minnesota predict are rare, there is still a reason for optimism that comes in the summer.
1. New trenches
Skol Nation complained for years about the insufficient attacking and defensive lines. Finally, the Front Office threw all means on those two areas of emergency, which changed the weakness to a play -off crew.
At the offensive end, the Vikings that Will Fries and Ryan Kelly have taken over in a free desk. They are expected to be help immediately, replacing the Garrett Bradbury center and the correct guard tandem of Dalton Risner and ED Ingram. Javon Hargrave and Jonathan Allen, a few former Pro Bowlers, were added. Just like Kelly, they don’t get younger, but they are huge upgrades anyway.
Suddenly opponents have to look out for interior pressure, which helps Jonathan Greenard and Andrew van Ginkel on the outside. Brian Flores could also choose to call the defense a bit more conservative. On the other side of the ball, the bags and running lanes must be more attractive.
2. Coaching staff
This point does not need too much explanation. Have the Vikings Kevin O’Connell Leader De Ploeg, and he is one of the elite -offensive spirits in football, installing an explosive attack, but also a culture that players want to be a part of.

3. Weapons
Justin Jefferson is one of the best players in football, regardless of the position, and there is not a single GM that does not think at least once or twice every low season to give the Vikings to ask for his availability. Jefferson is the ultimate rescue man because he has the opportunity to be open to most coverings, and even if he doesn’t, he can still come with the ball.
When the multi -year Pro Bowler is covered twice or even with triple, he needs a teammate to perform, and the Vikings also have that guy in Jordan Addison. In his third season he has been a human highlight. Moreover, the TJ Hockenson franchise has on the Roster, who is one of the top that receives tight ends.
Add jalen nailor to the mix and a decent declining duo in Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, and you get one of the best supporting casts in the NFL.
