The 2026 Cognizant Classic in Palm Beaches begins Thursday, February 26 with the opening round at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Full Cognizant Classic start times for Thursday’s first round can be found at the bottom of this post.
Recommended start time for round 1
This week’s Cognizant Classic in Florida saw a wave of late withdrawals from top players. But there is still plenty of firepower in the field. Look no further than Brooks Koepka.
Koepka, a five-time major champion, makes his third start of the 2026 PGA Tour season this week at PGA National. It also marks the third start of his PGA Tour comeback after leaving LIV Golf late last year.
So far, Koepka hasn’t been his best on the course, earning a T56 at the Farmers Insurance Open and a missed cut at the WM Phoenix Open.
This week is a great opportunity for Koepka to finally shake off the rust and get a quality finish. But he will have plenty of proven winners to compete with, such as Will Zalatoris, Shane Lowry and Max Homa.
Koepka will tee off with Zalatoris and Daniel Berger for the opening round at 12:23 p.m. ET.
