Pebble Beach, Ca/Woodcliff Lake, NJ – 14.25 August …Since the North -American debut on the Misty Coast of Monterey, CA, in 2018, the BMW 8 series Gran Coupe has been praised for its graceful styling, strong performance and advanced technology. Today BMW returns to Pebble Beach to reveal a very special 8-series with a limited edition: the 2026 M850i edition M Heritage. The M850i edition M Heritage exclaims the original 8 -series from the 1990s to five historical paint finishes of BMW individual. The interior is equipped with M -Sport chairs and Alcantara finishing, while special wheels and exterior design elements close the exclusive profile.

Limited to only 500 units that are spread among a few selected markets around the world, the M850i edition M Heritage promises to reward drivers, not only with the extraordinary driving experience that is unique to the 8 -series, but also the satisfaction and pride to have a rare and special BMW.

The production of the M850i edition M Heritage starts in November 2025, with deliveries that are expected to start in the first quarter of 2026.

The M850i edition M Heritage can be ordered in one of the five historic shades that were available in the original E31 8 series that debuted in 1989 on the Frankfurt Motor Show: Bright Red, Mauritius Blue Metallic, Cosmos Black Metallic, Oxford Green Metallic. These BMW individual verffinsihes are included in the price of the M Heritage edition.

Which shade the customer ultimately chooses is complimented by the standard M Carbon Roof, with exclusive M Tri-Color accent stripes. Distinguishing Bi-Color Baan Gray 20-inch Dual-Spaaks alloy wheels Stye 895m wrapped in summer performance, also distinguished the M850i-edition M Heritage Apart.

The exterior design of the M850i edition M Heritage is further improved by the Standard M Sport Professional package, which includes sports braking with black calipers, m shadow line lights and extensive shadow line outside finish.

The M850i edition M Heritage has unique seats, upholstery and trim elements that are not available for order on other 8 -series models. The driver and the front passenger are provided M sports seats finished in BMW Individual black full of merinol leather and Alcantara, with a diamond -shaped cladding pattern. Alcantara also adorns the headliner, dashboard and upper door panels. The seats, door panels and safety belts all have three-colored stitching, and there is a special, non-lit M-badge in every headrest for the front seat.

The center console is finished in a unique matte carbon fiber. The Glass Shift lever and Idrive control give a touch of elegance to the assertive sporting interior agreements. The CuphOLDER coverage and the doorsill plates are registered with “M850i Edition M Heritage” and “1/500” script, to remind everyone of the rarity of the edition.

The M850i edition M Heritage is available in a single, fully equipped configuration. This means functions such as a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System and the Professional Package for Rijhulp are included. The customer only has to select an outdoor color.

Of course, the M Heritage edition brings the formidable power that is expected from every top range of BMW Performance Car. Under the sculpted hood is a 4.4-liter Twinpower Turbo V8 that produces 523 hp and 553 LB-FT torque. All that firepower is sent via an 8-speed Steptronic transmission to BMW’s xDrive Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system. The result is 0-60 in just 3.9 seconds at a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph.
