Updates for the 2026 Aveta Vanguard 250 in Malaysia, with a suggested retail price of RM16,688 excluding road tax, insurance and registration. Updates to the Vanguard 250 have come from owner feedback and rider involvement, improving rider comfort, versatility and confidence.

There are 10 major updates to the Vanguard 250, with the 7-inch TFT-LCD touchscreen topping the list, along with a power-adjustable windshield and a redesigned switch for more intuitive operation while driving. The pillion passenger is now protected from the heat of the exhaust fumes by an extended exhaust cover, complemented by improved pillion footrests for greater comfort and safety.


In addition, the saddle is now cut for better reach when stationary, allowing the rider to put their feet on the ground and providing greater comfort. Under-seat storage on the Vanguard 250 now better accommodates a full-face helmet, increasing usability.

The rear shock absorber settings have been revised for better driving stability under varying loads. ABS and TCS are now switchable on the Vanguard 250, allowing optimal ride settings for on- and off-road riding, while the hood has been redesigned for easier maintenance.

Power for the Vanguard comes from a SOHC, liquid-cooled, four-valve single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 244.2 cc, fed by Bosch EFI. Power is 24.8 hp at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 22.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm, which goes to the rear wheel via CVT transmission and belt drive.

There are two color options available for the Vanguard 250 in Malaysia: Nano Green and Desert Bronze. The updated Vanguard 250 will be available from March 2026 at all authorized Aveta dealer showrooms.
