2025 Wyndham Championship purse: Payout Breakdown, winner’s share

For Cameron Young this week can mean much more than his first PGA Tour win.

While Young, who leads the Wyndham championship with five shots that go into the last round of Sunday, tries to get over the bump after seven second place to start his career, he also has next month’s Ryder Cup in his home.

“I just try to look at that to just take all the little things that happen daily as it comes,” he said. “But in the back of my head I try to introduce myself in that team.”

Young was left the 2023 Ryder Cup team, even though it was the 9th on the list of American points, the player with the highest rank was not selected. In his three seasons since his Breakout Rooker Year in 2022, when he finished second in the Open Championship (and four other times), it is no better than 40th in the Fedex Cup rankings. That is where he is going to enter the week, but a victory would take him all the way to 16th place.

Perhaps even more important for Young, it will get him as high as 15th in the ryder Cup rankings, far from the Top-6 needed to be eligible automatically, but it would certainly attract the attention of our captain Keegan Bradley.

But the Wyndham championship is still a huge prize itself with a wallet of $ 8.2 million and a first place of $ 1,476 million.
