The Max Field Hockey/Longstreth High School National Invitational from 2025 is in the books! What an incredible weekend of hockey with 19 top 25 teams from the nation. #1 Academy of Notre Dame de Namur (Villanova, Pennsylvania) and #2 Villa Maria Academy (Malverns, Pennsylvania) remain storms by top opponents, their 4 match-ups surpassed with a combined 22 goals for and 4 against. An impressive stat – 3 of those teams were in the top 10 in the nation! The two teams met last week after the invitation with Academy of Notre Dame de Namur and achieved a 4-2 victory and maintained their first place in the nation. #5 Oak Knoll School (Summit, New Jersey) declined two top 10 opponents in Warwick High School (Lititz, Pennsylvania) and the Kinkaid School (Houston, Texas) on the Invitational and then he went two top 10 opponents in the Hill School (Pottstown, Penny, Pennsylvania) Hill, New Jerse Hill, New Jersey). The now top team in the West/Mid-West, New Trier High School (Winnetka, Illinois) also had a great show on the Invitational, with which 3 wins registered, including a 3-2 victory at the Hill School.
