We finally made it, people. It’s Ryder Cup Week.
Twenty -four of the best players in the world will be collected in Bethpage Black and will change someone’s career. A handful of players plays all five games. Even more will probably just play three times.
What about just two games? The ultimate sign of … We don’t really need you now. We wait to see that, but in the meantime we have compiled the true, most accurate, infallible power ranking of all 24 players in the event. Enjoy!
24. Sepp tighta
Five months ago we expected that SLEKA would play at least four games, but he had a lot going on and added a newborn to his family. Everything in, SLOWA has only played two tournaments since the opening and the most recent was pretty bad. He is an excellent candidate to play only two games, but maybe Luke Donald will surprise us.
23. Justin Rose
Rose hit his ticket for this team in August, during a three -week series of form. And do you remember what he did in Augusta in April? Two major problems: Augusta National is not Bethpage Black, and his wave between those two peaks was not good. At the age of 45 he is limited in what he can offer physically. Mentally, however, he is a bastion of experience, which means that he can grind a competition on the 18th hole and hits his chest in Ryder Cup survey.
22. Rasmus Hojgaard
Hojgaard One of the best Karrivvers at the 2023 Cup, this week must be an elite golf ball driver, which he was decided not In the TuneUp team at Wentworth two weeks ago. His game is so similar to his brother Nico’s that it feels like Team Europe has the literally the same team. That would lead to RAS playing a few four-ball matches and tries to make as many birdies as possible on his own ball.
21. Collin Morikawa
It may feel wrong to rank Morikawa so low, but the last few months have not been good for him. He has had a lot of different people who wore his clubs, the most recent is Mark Urbanek, who walked to Tony Finau during the Ryder Cup 2021 at Whistling Straits, and the results have been everywhere. In the end he is still one of the best Irons players on the planet and can have a kind of recovery alongside Sam Burns, the best putter in the world.
20. Shane Lowry
Lowry has been an emotional leader for Team Europe with both two cups, but his game has not exactly been the most impressive. Both in those cups and in the summer of 2025. So what do you do with him? Probably send it in foursomes with a good putter and hope that the irons are hot.
19. Harris Engels
Engels earned a road to the Ryder Cup by playing well at the right time, earning a number of points with second place in two Majors this year. Does his play Wow You? No. Will he play four games at Bethpage? Probably not. But at least he is not a rookie.
18. Justin Thomas
Thomas is only mentioned so low because of how mediocre he has been lately. He finished in the middle of the peloton in Napa and has submitted a bad round for every two good in recent weeks. Up and down play can be masked by the size of a team event, but I just get the feeling that he is more team leader than teamball player, if you want. And that’s okay!
17. Sam Burns
The undisputed best putter in the world … it actually did better in team competition than most people think. He was the third best American, the strokes, in terms of 2023 Cup, and he has been very good since the beginning of August. I am particularly curious about which ball-sniffing wizard he is linked.
16. JJ Spaun
Spaun practiced with Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley during the American team training camp in Napa, so you think he could play in New York together with both. However, his game lends himself to a great putter. So a Sam Burns or Ben Griffin type is perhaps the better option. Anyway, he played the best wave of his life this year, and the all-round nature of his game must be an asset to Keegan Bradley. If it is not a victory, it may not be stated in the US cards
15. Bob Macintyre
Two years ago, Macintyre was undoubtedly the greatest concern that the Ryder Cup came in. Many Europeans were not stuck with it, not even in the team. But then he was unbeaten in three games, turned into one of the best players in the world and is now a huge player for Europe. I am not sure with whom Donald will link him, especially in a four -out match, but if he plays alternative shot – what he did nothing about Italy – is that your biggest sign that Bob is in good shape.
14. Tyrrell Hatton
He has never been one of the four best players in a Ryder Cup team, but Hatton has always been a sign of depth on which the Europeans trust enormously. People forget that he not only played well in Rome, but also firmly in Wisconsin, and still took a point in the European victory in France. He is the lucky one who probably plays next to Jon Rahm.
13. Cameron Young
The Ryder Cup -smokie has been playing some nuclear wave lately. His finish in August and September: Win, Solo 5th, 11th, T4, T9. If he can continue the ball, he can look a lot like Griffin and notice that he plays four games like a rookie.
12. Patrick Cantlay
Cantlay has been a Ryder Cup murderer, no matter how you look at it. He combined great with Xander Schauffele at Whistling Straits and wore Wyndham Clark during a competition win in Rome. His form in the late season came in … So will Patty Ice return to Bethpage? I am here for zero smiles with Cameron Young.

11. Viktor HOVOLAND
HOVOLAND was perhaps the best golfer on the planet prior to the Ryder Cup 2023. He is no longer, but his floor is still incredibly high. His putter has been much hotter throughout the summer, which is good for the Birdie pursuit that eventually becomes these competitions.
10. Matt Fitzpatrick
Six months ago it seemed that Fitzpatrick might not have had no place on this European selection. But something has changed in the spring and he has been incredible since then, with seven top 10s in his last nine starts. There have been no victories on the board, but he has played some of the most consistent wave and can come together with everyone. Maybe he plays again with Rory McIlroy.
9. Ben Griffin
Griffin is the highest ranked rookie on the list, but he deserves it. He plays the best wave of his life and even if he is not a bomber of the tee, he does everything else at an elite-elite level. If he is linked to an in-form teammate, he could issue a 3 or 3.5-point performance. The most important question is: how shaky will his knees get on that first tee?
8. Xander Schauffele
Schauffele would be ranked higher if he had participated at all lately, but he did not play in a month – took the time to be with his wife while welcoming a newborn in the family. He has still not missed a reduction in years, thanks to an incredibly high floor. He will not be calculated to play five games and may not even play four. We will have to see in what kind of shape his game is.
7. Ludvig Aberg
Very, very quiet, Aberg has returned to his top, with a great all -round game that you can combine with someone else. We would expect that he would combine again with his Nordic friend HOVOLAND. We would not expect them to win another competition 9 and 7, but will not be surprised if they do well. The floor is so high.
6. Russell Henley
Henley has been restricted as a solid teammate for Scottie Scheffler, but he may now be too good for that role. He has been one of the eight best golfers in the world most of the last 12 months, who simply grind solid versions on every type of golf course. Bethpage will not suit him perfectly, but Course Fit did not keep it low in 2025. He just stays trucks.
5. Bryson Deschambeau
It is difficult to know exactly what Deschambeau has done in the past month since the LIV golf season ended. Well, we know that he gives cars away through trickshots and performances on the Walker Cup and even at team events in Napa – but when it comes to preparing his game, there is probably no larger wildcard. He could play five games, electrify the audience and somehow earn more fans than he already has. He could also continue a good-not-large form, bad luck alongside people with whom he has never linked before and ultimately only plays three games.
4. Tommy Fleetwood
Fleetwood plays the best wave of his life, he got the monkey from his back with a win in the Tour Championship and has a sparkle of a Ryder Cup record as everyone else. He may not play five games, but if he rocks with the right teammate – maybe McIlroy – he might not be a single session.
3. Rory Mcilroy
Nobody in the field has just as many Ryder Cup experience as McIlroy, who has been proclaiming a European victory for two years now. He staggered a bit this summer, but corrected again in his place in the K Club with an Irish open victory. McIlroy will compete against Scottie Scheffler to be an underdog in every match this week.
2. Jon Rahm
Rahm is equipped for a session in Rome, I think Rahm politely asks for a full slate of five performances this week. He went toe with Scheffler with each of the last two cups and doesn’t get that chance almost enough anymore. Here is at 3 that take place this week.
1. Scottie Scheffler
He is the undisputed best player on earth and is traveling to hit McIlroy’s mantle of the best player since Tiger. A good first step would be his best team event so far. If he doesn’t play five games, something is seriously wrong.
