Still only 26 and entering his Prime, Meinerz has to continue anchoring the offensive line of the Broncos for years.
Defensive player: CB Patrick Surty II
Fresh from a defensive player of the year award, Patrick Surty II leads a secondary from Denver who could be the NFL’s best in 2025. He recovered from a challenging 2023 to rank all qualified cornerbacks in coverage quality and pff-win over replacement, rank as the most valuable non-quarter in the competition by PFF war. Although Cornerback performance can fluctuate from year to year, Surty is a strong gamble to deliver an elite season.
Rookie to watch: CB Jahdae Barron
About Denver’s exciting secondary, first round Pick Jahdae Barron should be a natural fit. In his last season TexasBarron led all Power four cornerbacks in coverage quality (91.1) and was at the top of the FBS in zone coverage (91.5). His extensive experience both in the lock and on the outside could enable him to play a role in Trent McDuffie style in the defense of Vance Joseph.
Fantasy Spotlight: Wre Marvin Mims Jr.
Marvin Mims Jr. Come in 2025 as a late round fantasy flyer with intriguing advantage. After a quiet start of his career, he flashed at the end of last season and ranked 23rd in PPR points per match (15.5) over a seven-game stretch.
