Now available in Malaysia, the CFMoto 250SRR Lite is priced at RM9,988, excluding road tax, insurance and registration. Three color options are available: Nebula Black, Gem Black and Zephyr Blue, and each 250SR Lite comes with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.
The 250SR Lite is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve engine. Power is 27.5 hp at 9,750 rpm and torque of 22 Nm at 7,250 rpm, which goes to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox, equipped with slipper clutch and chain final drive.
The suspension is provided with a non-adjustable telescopic front fork and a monoshock with adjustable spring preload at the rear. According to the spec sheet, the suspension travel is 120mm at the front and 40mm at the rear.
For braking, the 250SR Lite features single hydraulic discs front and rear, with a 292mm diameter disc at the front with twin-piston caliper and a 220mm disc with single-piston caliper at the rear. Two-channel ABS is standard equipment.
The wheel size is 17 inches front and rear, shod with 110/70-R17 front and 140/60-R17 rear tubeless tires. The 250 SR’s seat height is rated at 780mm, with a stated weight of 165kg, while there are 12 liters of fuel in the tank.
Driving information is displayed on a digital LCD screen in the cockpit, with LED lighting throughout, including headlight, taillight, indicators and hazard lights. Driving comfort includes dual USB charging ports (Type-A and Type-C).
