In the opening round in Port Royal, Canadian pro and PGA Tour winner Adam Hadwin had the round of the day. Hadwin fired a six-under 65 to set the pace on Day 1.

After starting the week ranked 147th in the Fedex Fall standings, Hadwin would move into the top 100 and secure full Tour status for next season with a win.

The first round was suspended on Thursday evening due to darkness with 15 players on the court. They will resume their rounds on Friday at 7:30 AM local time, with Round 2 starting as scheduled at 7:00 AM local time.
