2025-2026 statistics for all 18 UNH commits

Eighteen NCAA prospects have made a verbal commitment to play for UNH in future seasons. Five have also signed a written undertaking. The Statistics sheet shown below identifies the 2025-26 team and league for each commit and its production statistics. The total number of games played, score production, penalty minutes and +/- rating are displayed for attackers and defenders. Goalkeeper statistics include matches played, wins/losses/draws, goals against average and save percentage.

Expected year of registration

The committed players will be categorized based on the expected year they will enroll at UNH. Projections are based on several factors, including:
~ Number of UNH players who left the team at the end of the previous season and the position they played.
~ Number of incoming transfer players and the position they play.
~ Number of years in junior hockey and remaining years of junior eligibility.

Six current UNH players are in their final year of NCAA eligibility. It is believed they will leave openings on the 2026-27 UNH roster:
Jack Cronin (F, graduate student)
Cy LeClerc (F, senior)
Morgan Winters (F, Sr)
Kristaps Skrastin (F, SR)
Kyle Chauvette (G, Sr)
Jared Walvis (G, Sr)

The “2026 Commits” mentioned in the Statistics sheet are on track to play for UNH in the fall of 2026. Those born in 2005 are in their final year of eligibility for junior hockey and thus will likely transition to college hockey in 2026.

Signed NCAA Financial Aid Agreement

Athletic scholarships from NCAA Division I schools are offered directly to student hockey prospects. Information about UNH commitments that have signed an NCAA Financial Aid Agreement, indicated by a * next to the player’s name, is taken from social media posts by the player, his junior hockey team and/or college/university. The National signing dates 2025-2026 for DI men’s ice hockey starts on November 12, 2025.

Player ratings in the neutral zone

Neutral zone provides detailed scouting reports for college hockey prospects through their final year of junior hockey, the season just before they enter college. NZ developed a 1-5 star scale for rating NCAA and Canadian Interuniversity Sport (U Sports) prospects.. The star rating shows how the prospect compares to other players in his year of birth.

The Statistics sheet (shown below) also includes the Neutral Zone star rating for each new UNH player. Clicking on a player’s numerical rating will display all NZ scouts’ evaluations and game reports. NZ is a paid subscription service.

REMARK

The statistics for the commits, shown in the table above, are categorized by the expected year in which they will enroll at UNH. For example, I project that the “2026 Commits” will play for UNH in the fall of 2026. My projections are based on the following factors:
~ Number of UNH players who left the team at the end of the previous season and the position they played.
~ Number of incoming transfer players and the position they play.
~ The commit’s performance in recent seasons and injuries.
~ If an NCAA Financial Aid Agreement has been signed.
~ The year the commit and UNH coaches originally targeted enrollment at UNH.
~ How old the commit would be upon admission.
~ Number of years in junior hockey and remaining years of junior eligibility.
~ Expected date of high school graduation.
