I didn’t mean to disappear here this week, but…. it was one of those weeks. I was inundated with client appointments and phone calls (which I love!!) but one of the girls was sick, we found mold in our bathroom (the inspectors are coming on Monday), something else happened behind the scenes (everyone is doing well, but it was just something we didn’t expect) and my Paypal got hacked for the fourth time in a month. (With a crazy password + an authenticator app.) I ended up canceling my account because their security has gotten so bad. So yes. That’s what’s happening here; I don’t have a lot of fun or exciting things to say lol, buuuuuuuuut
in the spirit of looking on the bright side, it’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. Here I share some of my favorite finds of the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so please shout out something you like in the comments below.

Fashion, Beauty, Random:
this Shark hair dryer.
I’ve been considering buying a Dyson for years, but I couldn’t bring myself to spend $500 on a hair dryer. My hair is long and quite thick, and I didn’t want to spend two pairs of jeans and a cute dress on something that might not work for my hair. I heard rave reviews about the Shark Flex merger, and when I saw it at Costco for $279, I went for it. I am not exaggerating that it has already changed my life and the lives of my children.

It gave me a salon-worthy blowout in about 25 minutes on the first try. I used it to straighten both girls’ hair and it looked AMAZING. I will definitely share a tutorial here on the blog soon!

Lola took her first walk! The vet gave us the all clear last week and she loved it. I was worried she would think the leash and harness would attack her, but she has been a pro since day 1.
She also ate P’s homework. I showed the photo to her teacher after school – she laughed heartily – so P could get a replacement.
A few little February sweets for the girls:
(hugs, heart jammies and chocolates)
A new candle heater:

(use this Oak Essentials candle)
Lace top from RTR:

(Mine link gives you 50% discount on your first month)

Read, watch, listen:
Work through this book for our Candida, Metabolic and Vitamins mentorship:

Started with the new Bridgerton season and SO GLAD it’s back. Are you watching?!
This podcast episode was excellent. This was one of the first books I read about personal finance after college, so it was pretty cool to hear David Bach’s voice. (I downloaded this after listening to the podcast episode.)
Fitness, health and good nutrition:
I’m finishing my first quarterly detox of the year. Although it has been a bit challenging – I wanted to dip into chocolate after the Paypal disaster, let me tell you – I feel great. I haven’t slept much this week, but it’s been a good night’s sleep, I’ve had energy, and it’s reminded me that eating lots of bright veggies and fiber is a good thing.

(detox pizza with ground chicken crust, lots of vegetables and tofu *cheese*)
The Lumebox sale is live!! You can get a 45% discount until Sunday this link. I use this every morning while checking my emails and it’s the perfect pick-me-up. I also use it for so many different things, like aches, menstrual cramps,
A new rose moisturizer from my friends at Canopy. Isn’t it beautiful?! I leave our Canopy humidifier on every night and the girls have them in their room too. I think it makes a huge difference in the winter, but also because it’s so dry here in AZ. It definitely helps my skin, eyes and hair. Use FITNESSA here! They work amazingly well and are easy to clean, anti-fungal technology, and you can also add aroma pods with the included essential oils.

If you’re looking for Superbowl recipes, try this dairy-free buffalo chicken dip!
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you soon!
xoxo
