This past weekend delivered everything the junior golf championship should represent: international pride, top performance, college recruiting prominence and meaningful global pathways.
The first Three Nations Cup was contested within 54 holes FCG Western States Cupelevating the atmosphere and bringing a truly international stage to Southern California.
Several college coaches were on site recruiting throughout the weekend, underscoring the importance of this championship on the national recruiting calendar.
Teams of eight players from the United States, Mexico and Canada competed in a two-day international format with the top six scores count every day.
After going into the final round trailing, Team Mexico made a remarkable comeback to win the first Three Nations Cup title.
It was team golf at its best: players competing for their country, supporting teammates and building international friendships that will last a lifetime.
This is exactly what global junior golf should look like.
Boys 15–18 division
Drue Henry Sanchez (2027 – Oakley, CA)
70-67-70 = 207 (-9)
Drue delivered three steady, composed rounds to claim the title in a deep and competitive field.
