Every August Monterey Car Week changes the California coast in the Ultimate Automotive Playground. It is a mash-up of the world’s rarest classic cars, record-breaking hypercars, historical racing and collector’s auctions where sales in seven and eight digits climbs. Collectors and enthusiasts gather on the peninsula to see cars that they have only written online, and the atmosphere feels like the entire car world has been pressed into a single zip code. While the most important showcases of the week as The Pebble Beach Concours, the quail: A Motorsports meeting and Rolex Motorsport Reunion attract a lot of attention, the Monterey Motorsports Festival has quickly become a must-protective event for those who want a little more noise, movement and variation in their line-up of the car week.
Before 2025, Monterey Motorsports Festival returns to the peninsula in full force to celebrate all things in one night to remember. Dillon Francis will be the first international DJ to take a car week event Headline, while the wild rotating McLaren P1 GTR “Mad Mac” makes his Monterey debut with Red Bull athlete Mad Mike behind the wheel. More than 50 Supercars and Hypercars will sail around the trade fair area, several new vehicle will reveal that you will not catch anywhere else, and the first “Donut Pit” of Car Week is set to send a tire smoke to the Monterey Air. Lamborghini legend Valentino Balboni will be on site with the latest models of the supercar manufacturers, and the event will yield a number of unexpected extras, such as a roller coaster with a car theme, a helicopter vitrine and food from every corner of the world.
