Spa hotels in Europe
There are numerous spa hotels in Europe, in many different variants. In Central and Eastern Europe, the old spa culture still lives on to some extent, and here traditional treatments are often mixed with new and creative wellness variants. Of course, spas are also offered in the rest of Europe – both in the northern and southern latitudes. In this stressful computer age, there seems to be an increasing demand for relaxation.
1. Czech Republic: Danubius Health Spa Resort Nove Lazna and Marianske Lazne
The entire spa town in the Czech Republic (Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazne and Frantiskovy Lazne) is full of spa hotels and wellness centers, so it is very difficult to choose A place. Danubius Health Spa Resort Nove Lazne offers several spa pools, including one with lovely Roman columns.

2. Estonia: Hotel Telegraaf and Telegraaf Spa I Tallinn
During our recent visit to the Estonian capital we visited the Telegraaf Spa, located in the exclusive Hotel Telegraaf. Here we all enjoyed a relaxing treatment, and we also hung out for a while in the relaxation area, by the lovely pools.

3. Croatia: Radisson Blu Resort & Spa I Split
One year we celebrated Christmas in Split, Croatia, and it was a lot of fun. We stayed at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, where you can enjoy swimming pools, relaxation and different types of treatments. A fantastic luxury, which can be perfectly combined with visits and experiences in the historic city of Split.

4. Germany: Beach hotel Ostseeblick in Heringsdorf
On the beautiful island of Usedom on the Baltic coast, a lot revolves around spa and wellness. We stayed at Strandhotel Ostseeblick, a family-run spa hotel with an excellent location in the middle of Heringsdorf. Here you will find everything from fine dining to pools, views and relaxing treatments.

5. Georgia: Crown Plaza I Bordjomi
Borjomi is a classic and historic spa town in Georgia, with large parks, nature reserves, sulfur baths and water considered medicinal for drinking. Of course, there are also more modern spa hotels, such as the Crowne Plaza. Here there is a swimming pool, fitness room, sauna and the possibility to book treatments.

6. Poland: Hotel Buczyński and Świeradow-Zdrój
Świeradów-Zdrój is located in the southwestern part of Poland, and just coming here is relaxation in itself. The area offers mountains, nature reserves, skywalks and opportunities for excursions to castles and charming villages. At the hotel you can enjoy good food, spa baths and treatments.

7. Bulgaria: Grafit Gallery Design Hotel in Varna
If you really want to live stylishly and modernly in Varna, on the Black Sea, you can check in at the Graffit Gallery Design Hotel. This hotel has a good location and there is also a relaxation area with swimming pool, sauna, fitness room and the option to book treatments.

8. Finland: Ngaatli Spa Hotel & Resort in Naantan
Finland’s Ngaatli may be best known for Moomin World, but this is also an incredibly beautiful place that was once a popular bathing and spa resort. Today, the traditions are kept alive by the Ngaatli spa Hotel & Resort, where you can enjoy swimming pools, saunas and various treatments.

9. Latvia: Radisson Blu Latvija conference and spa hotel I Riga
If you stay at this hotel in Riga, you will also find the 5-star spa center ESPA Riga in the same place. However, this large and wonderful spa operates as a day spa, so it works fine to book here even if you’re not staying at the hotel, which we did many years ago.

10.Malta: Barcelo Fortina Malta Sliema
This hotel in Malta has certainly changed its name, and perhaps some direction, since we were here, but the location and amazing views are still the same. Here you will find a swimming pool, a sauna, a gym, massages and various spa treatments.

11. Turkey: Galata Istanbul Hotel MGallery I Istanbul
Galata Istanbul Hotel MGallery may not be primarily a spa hotel, but if you want to combine a stay in Istanbul with a Turkish hammam, this is perfect. The hotel is also very nice, has nice rooms, good breakfast and excellent location.

12. Switzerland: Copperhill Mountain Lodge
Copperhill Mountain Lodge is a natural and luxurious spa hotel in Åre. Located on a mountain, the hotel offers both a relaxing spa and a Scandinavian menu with local ingredients. Our favorite part was lying in the warm water and looking out through the large windows over the snow-covered landscape and the skiers.
