1. Welcome to the skin through beautiful, Payton! Can you tell us about your trip to become an injection specialist?

I graduated from the nursing school in 2021 and started working in a hospital bed. That experience was so important to me. It helped me to build confidence as a nurse and taught me how I could really take care of people for people.

In 2023 I decided to switch to aesthetics. I started in a large company, but after following an advanced injection specialist training, everything changed for me. I learned techniques that I did not use in my daily work and realized that I wanted to grow and offer more to my patients.

Then I moved to a smaller practice where I could continue to learn and concentrate on more personalized treatments. Eventually I found my way to Lovely’s skin, and I am so happy that I did that. It feels great to be part of a team that encourages education, encourages growth and really puts patients in the first place.

2. What do you like best about working in aesthetic medicine?

What I like best is to help people feel confident in their own skin. There is something very special to see a patient light up after a treatment. Not because they look completely different, but because they seem more on their own. I also think it’s great that this field is constantly evolving. There is always something new to learn, whether it is a new technique, product or way to improve the results. Being able to combine my medical background with creativity and to build real connections with patients, makes this work so worthwhile for me.

3. How do you approach the treatment of treatment to ensure that every patient feels heard and lagging behind their results?

I always start with real listening. I want to understand what the patient has brought in, how they feel about their appearance and what their goals are. From there I take the time to inform them about the treatment options and what is realistic. I never hurry the process because I believe that trust has been built up by honest conversations and setting clear expectations. Every plan is personalized and I always check in the entire process to ensure that they feel comfortable and confident. My goal is that every patient feels empowered and enthusiastic about their results.

4. What advice do you always give to patients considering injectables for the first time?

Always go to someone who is reputable and well trained in aesthetics. You should never put pressure on during your appointment. If something feels wrong, it’s okay to walk away. Ask many questions and take your time. Make sure you fully understand the treatment before agreing. You must feel safe and empowerment throughout the entire process. The goal with injectables is not to change your natural characteristics what you look like. Go slowly and trust the process.

I really enjoy doing wrinkle relaxants and lip treatments. Wrinkle relaxers are great because they help to ease expression lines and give a refreshed, natural appearance without changing how someone’s face moves. Lips are one of my favorites because they can really increase trust. I love helping patients to find the right balance and form that naturally feels and improves their characteristics. Both treatments enable me to combine precision with artistry, making the work really worthwhile.

6. If you are not on the skin, what do you like to relax or spend your weekends?

At the moment my time is usually spent with my toddler son and prepared for the arrival of our second small. I am also a woman and currently at school to complete my citizen service number. I don’t have much free time at the moment, but I graduate in July and really look forward to having more of that time back. If I get free moments, I would like to pass them on with my family. We enjoy traveling and are enthusiastic to do that together more in the future.

7. Are you known for your calm, caring energy in the treatment room – How do you create that experience for your patients?

I think my calming and caring energy has become of course since he becomes a mother. Staying in the present really helps me to concentrate on every patient and their needs. I want every patient to really feel cared for and safe during his appointment. It is really important to me that nobody ever feels that I did not listen or did not care about their concerns. I seemed with that energy and I stay flexible so that I can adapt to what every patient needs at the moment.
