MMA -Camets in Hollywood -Films
Anthony Johnson as Orlando “Midnight” Le (Warrior, 2011)
Certainly, one of the better MMA films that are there, ‘Warrior’ stars Tom Hardy as an ex-Marine who wants to win a tournament, however, has to fight against his demons when he meets his brother in the final.
The character of Anthony Johnson is just one of the many famous names in Warrior. He portrays Orlando ‘Midnight’ Le, an extremely muscular, torn hunter who is certainly the favorite in the fight. His opponent, played by Joel Edgon, catches Le in a kimura, who disturbs the opportunities and forces Johnson’s character to tap.
Chuck Liddell (Kick Ass 2)
The former light heavyweight king, Chuck Liddell, plays a short cameo role as he himself, plays as an MMA coach for the character of Christopher Mintz-Plasse in The Blockbuster 2013 Action-Comedy, Kick Ass 2.
Although he did not play a major role in this, he played in films such as ‘War Pigs’ and ‘Fight Another Day’ alongside Ken Shamrock and Michael Bisping.
Kamaru Usman (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, 2022)
Undoubtedly the most controversial film on this list, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hit Hollywood in 2022. The film was culturally important because it emphasized the black identity in the film. Which better hunter was seen in the film than ‘The Nigerian nightmare’.
While preparing a title defense against Leon Edwards, Welterweight Champion, Kamaru Usman scored a supporting role as a naval officer. It was a huge honor for Usman, but the film turned out to be much better than its title defense …
Lots of Camese (The Naked Pistool, 2025)
In 2025 the cinemas was released in 2025 and the newest film was released in the ‘Naked Gun’ series with a lot of excitement from fans. In the lead role Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, the film offers a great tribute to the old films of the 80s and 90s. Together with two of the best in Hollywood, there were also many MMA cameras.
The film Climaxt during an MMA event where we are treated to a whole host MMA talent during the scenes. Joey Benavidez and Brandon Moreno are confronted with Justin Gaethje and Usman also delete it. She introduces Bruce Buffer, we have Jon Anik and Michael Bisping on Coms and John McCarthy who surpassed the action. WWE stars Cody Rhoads and Dave Bautista also play. A great film with many MMA cameras.
Conor McGregor (Roadhouse, 2024)
A remake of the film of the same name from 1989, the film from 2024 saw Conor McGregor and Jake Gyllenhaal collision in many fight scenes. Gyllenhaal plays an ex-PUC hunter who became a bouncer, with McGregor playing the character of ‘Knox’.
There was certainly some criticism of McGregor’s performance, with One outlet Couple: “Conor McGregor is when looking at how an annoying toddler gets a tantrum in the middle of a restaurant“The same article continued by saying “It hurts your eyes and ears, you don’t know where to look and you wish someone, someone, would intervene”.
Maybe you will stay with the day task, Conor.
Ronda Rousey (The Expendables 3, 2014)
In 2014, Ronda Rousey was one of the biggest stars in the UFC. She was unbeaten and had finished everyone who stood in the way. Not only this, but she quickly became a Hollywood star.
Rousey makes her Hollywood debut and plays Luna Maya, a bouncer who is recruited from the crew by the character of Kelsey Grammer in an attempt to overcome a arms dealer. Her aura in the octhoek remained the screen and her athletics let her shine in the roll.

She would play the star in Furious 7 a year later, as well as Mile 22 in 2018.
Michelle Waterson-Gomez (Havoc, 2025)
One of the MMA Cameees that went under the radar is the appearance of Michaelle Waterson-Gomez in ‘Havoc’. Waterson-Gomez plays a murderer and does not stand out as a non-actress, but shines in her role.

She plays the role perfectly, even though she is substandard compared to the main character, depicted by Tom Hardy. Her athletics, karate background and her overall acting power shine. Don’t be surprised to see The Karate Hottie In many more films in the future.
Randy Couture (The Expendables)
Many film fans there will not recognize Randy Couture as an ex-MMA hunter, former two-division world champion and one of the best to do it ever, but rather a movie star.
However, it is best known for all four films of the vast pertics, in addition to a few elites from Hollywood. Although they do not have an acting background, Couture acts alongside Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Sylvester Stallone, to name just a few, with great success.
Jokes are even made in the first film about the cauliflower ear of Couture because of struggling at the university.
GSP (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, 2014)
Another MMA -Cameo in a Marvel film came when Georges St Pierre was seen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 2014. He plays Batroc, a master in the French kickboxing style, Savate, who is very much on the brand for GSP.
His fighting scene with Captain America (portrayed by Chris Evans) is clearly choreographed with his background in mind, with many sidekicks and Superman -something he became known for during his epic title run of Welterweight. It was certainly nice to see that he could shine outside the Octagon after retirement.
Michael Bisping (XXX: Return or Xander Cage, 2017)
Did anyone know that Michael Bisping was filming a film before he took the fight against Luke Rockhold in the short term in 2016 for the title of the middleweight? The same fight that The count Rockhold switched off to become the champion?
Bisping filmed XXX: Return of Xander Cage when he received the call to fill in in the short term for the wounded Chris Weidman. He told Rockhold in the construction of the fight that he would “run from a film site and beat your ass”, and that is exactly what happened.
Since his outing in XXX, Bisping has shown in a number of other films, however, has been doing his best work in the commentary position after retirement.
