The number of new AI tools that is released daily is fascinating.
However, most of them are just Trojan horses filled with things that chatgpt could easily do yourself if you asked.
The formula for an AI software is easy.
- Take a function of chatgpt (you can even use the open AI API).
- Limit the functionality and the target group
- Give it a cool name.
- Buy the standard AI website theme (you know what I am talking about).

It is an “AI tool” that helps you to write lists on Zillow.
I even made an official Zilgo Website design.
Jokes aside, there is definitely a place for specialized AI tools outside the base LLMS such as Chatgpt.
Whether it is for convenience or because there are things are not possible within chatgpt – At least not yet.
I started to think … “I wonder how many AI tools do things that can be done just as well within Chatgpt?”
That list became too long, so I made the opposite.
A list of AI software that does things that Chatgpt cannot do or cannot do well enough.
This article is that list.
These are 20 skills and the recommended corresponding AI tools that do things that chatgpt cannot -or can only do if you are on a specific GPT or plug -in. If there is a free GPT can Take it out, I will call it too.
🔊 1. Voice clones and ultra-realistic speech
Aid: Elfs
There are 100S AI trailerers and amplifiers, but 11Labs is the gold standard. Generate hyper-realistic voice-overs with emotion, accents and even your cloned voice.
Possible with a GPT? ✅
GPTs with Elflabs API (eg “Voice Cloner GPT”) exist, but usually limited in free versions.
📊 2. Auto-generate presentations of ideas or data
Tools: Slide
Build designed Slides immediately – not just sketching.
Possible with a GPT? ✅
GPTs such as “Deck Designer” can export slides, but visuals often have to be adjusted manually.
🎥 3. Auto-edit video clips of long-term content
Aid: Opusclip
Takes your long-shaped video and spits from Tiktok-ready shorts, with highlights, captions and framing. This function of “redeveloping long content in short form” is replicated by around 100 different AI programs, but this is the best of the couple.
Possible with a GPT? Not yet.
😎 4. Clean appearance and face wip
Aid: Akool Face Swap/Pikzel
Akool lets you place your face in film scenes or viral clips with shocking realism.
Pikzels is my go to to make YouTube miniatures with my face on it (without taking photos).
🚫 Not possible via GPT.
💰 5. Investment and portfolio optimization
Tools: Composer
Build automated portfolios, perform back tests and manage risks based on real data.
✅ Also possible via GPT: Some GPTs can simulate strategy structure, but no real -time integration or trade version.
📬 6. Smart AI e -Mail Inbox Management
Saner AI can read and answer your e -mails, read and answer triage much further than Chatgpt’s drawing capacity.
✅ Also possible via GPT: GPTS can help answer, but has no access to your inbox or triage automatically.
📈 7. Spreadsheet ai with live data integration
Tools: Number
These tools connect to live data, automatic build-dashboards and make spreadsheets dynamic.
✅ Also possible via GPT: You can ask GPT for formulas or Gemini directly in Google sheets.
🧩 8. Deep workflows

✅ Also possible via GPT: Chatgpt now does some automation, but not to the extent that is possible with N8

Chatgpt cannot do the Nitty Gruizige work of Outreach yet.
Possible with a GPT? Not yet.
💬 10. Connecting connecting quantities of media
Aid: Poppy Ai
You can upload some information to chatgpt, but if you really want to get more from huge amounts of inputs (think of a collection of 40 Tiktok videos, an E book of 400 pages, your own audio notes and more) you need a tool like Poppy AI.
Possible with a GPT? Not on this scale.
Last thoughts
Chatgpt is a Swiss pocket knife, but not a complete toolbox. If you do serious work in media, legal, marketing or operations – you often need a little more specialized.

- 💡 Use chatgpt to brainstorm, But implement other tools to implement.
- 🔍 Keep an eye on chatgpt -updates, because many of these things will probably be included soon functionalities
