2026 FCG Callaway World Championship Boys 15-18 champion earns exemption to International Amateur
Prestigious progression path for Junior Golf’s rising stars
Palm Desert, CA — Future Champions Golf (FCG) is proud to announce a new competitive advancement opportunity for elite junior golfers competing in the FCG Callaway World Championship 2026. Starting with the July 13-15, 2026 Championship, the Boys 15-18 champion will earn one career-defining exemption for the prestigious International Amateurwhich will take place in December.
This new exemption strengthens the pathway for elite junior players to transition from junior competition to elite international amateur golf, reinforcing FCG’s mission to create meaningful progression opportunities for ambitious, internationally competitive young athletes.
A gateway to international amateur competition
The International amateur is one of the world’s premier year-end amateur golf championships. Formerly known as the South Beach International Amateurthis 72-hole stroke play event attracts a deep, global field of top-ranked amateurs, collegiate players and elite juniors from around the world. In recent years, the championship has been contested at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida, where champions emerged in a four-day test of precision and competitive resilience.
By receiving an exemption from this event, the FCG Callaway World Championship Boys 15-18 champion will join a distinguished group of competitors and showcase their play on one of amateur golf’s biggest stages – an opportunity to compete against top amateur talent and capture the attention of college coaches, international ranking committees and elite golf programs.
About the FCG Callaway World Championship
The FCG Callaway World ChampionshipNow in its 18th annual edition, it is one of the most highly anticipated junior golf tournaments in the world. Players earn invitations through qualifying events on multiple continents and compete for world championships in various age categories. Supported by Callaway Golf and powered by Upgame by Trackman, the event brings together international competitors in a championship setting designed to enhance the performance and exposure of juniors.
In 2026, the event is expected to feature expanded qualifications and participation, with 12 championship golf courses and an expected field from more than 50 countries.
