Teaching forms of Warriors other than competing could ever be possible, and Zebaztian Kadestam discovered his true calling beyond the Glorie Championship. The Swedish striker devotes himself to forming the next generation world champions of Sweden by lessons that were learned by overcoming darkness.
Kadestam is opposed to Aung La n Sang in MMA MMA One Fight Night 36: Prajanchai vs. From Bella II on Prime Video On Friday, October 3, in Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium. The 34-year-old former Welterweight champion makes its middleweight debut against the Myanmar icon that closes its legendary career.
Mental health struggle defined the journey of Kadestam before martial arts offered salvation. The former champion has never been removed from discussing vulnerabilities, understanding that transformation into strength creates foundations for guiding young athletes.
Coaching of children and teenagers up to 14 years old in the Allstars training center in Solna became his calling. That role naturally developed for a decade instead of suddenly arriving as a side issue.
Tough lessons of overcoming the darkest period of his life now guided how he connects with students who walk through his sports doors. When personal struggles overwhelm him, the well -known rhythm of the training offers healing instead of simple escape.
The mutual nature of education offers unexpected benefits. Each session becomes a two -way street where wisdom flows in both directions and teaches Kadestam about itself while forming future champions.
“I really have the feeling that without martial arts, my story would have been a really dark story. Martial Arts saved me. And it keeps saving me,” he said.
“Coaching was something that I feel it was meant. I actually coached boys and have been teaching boys for more than 10 years and so, so I have always done this, and it’s like a dream of mine.”
Zebaztian Kadestam sees the championship potential among young students
The eyes of Zebaztian Kadestam raise the discussion of potential that he observes with young students in Allstars Training Center. Their dedication and intensity remind him why he originally fell in love with martial arts.
Seven and eight-year-olds show that crazy look in their eyes during training. Their urge and determination sometimes exceeds what Kadestam had at that age and impressed the former champion above expectations.
The MMA landscape of Sweden continues to become stronger with every passing year. Increased participation and improved infrastructure fuel that expanded that community in the Scandinavian country.
The competitive flame is still burning clearly in Kadestam, despite his focus that slowly shifts to accompanying the stars of tomorrow. He wants to spoil his friend’s pension fight before going back to Welterweight to reclaim his championship.
‘I can see it [the hunger] With some guys. I have been impressed by them. I think it’s pretty cool to see such young children with so much drive and determination, “he said.
“It is a lifelong journey. No stops. Or you are walking away or you will be a coach, and I don’t think I can ever walk away from this sport. I am far from a perfect coach. I am not there yet, but I will definitely be a good coach in a day.”
