Brisbane’s Riverside sees a limited stock of boutique units for sale, with a new luxury development along the river of the city.

Sitting in the heart of Bulimba at Byron St, ‘Watts & Wright’ is a new building made of 15 homes, starting with more than $ 2 million in price.

Developed by Spyre Group and designed by Cavill Architects, the units are designed with a northern orientation and an open river-oriented form, aimed at giving residents an uninterrupted view.

Managing Director of Spyre Group Andrew Malouf said this was the first time that the company had completely led the interior of the project in -house, making it a big step for the team.

“These offers are defined by their generous floor plans, careful design and an excellent location,” he said. “The prices start in the high $ 2 million for the residences with three bedrooms … For those looking for increased luxury, our subpenthouse collection is available from the prices north of $ 6.5 million.”

Units vary between three and four bedrooms, with a few apartments that offer roof terraces or private courtyards.

Each of the 15 houses has a view of the north of the River Brisbane and starts slightly less than $ 3 million.

The project is the first time that Spyre Group has dealt with interior design in -house and is inspired by historic locations in the area.

Design director knows Pinel said that the interior of Watts & Wright has taken inspiration through historic locations along Byron St, built with floor plans to take the natural light of the area.

“With many of our buyers who reduce from large family homes, we acknowledge that privacy is a fundamental priority,” he said. “Our design reaction ensures this through the divorce of bedrooms and the creation of several living zones, so that residents can enjoy both quiet retreat and shared spaces to the same extent.”

Level 4 of the project will be devoted to a series of shared facilities for residents: including a swimming pool in resort style and heated spa, together with BBQ and outdoor mates overlooking the River Brisbane.

A builder has been found for the development and a construction time line will be announced in the future.

So far, Spyre Group sees a high levels of interest from “Hyper-Local Downsizers”, in which residents of Bulimba are looking for a low-maintenance house with a map comparable to their old houses.

A builder has been appointed for the project and is expected to be announced with the construction time line in the following weeks.

“The level of craftsmanship that is needed for this project is considerable, and we have deliberately been in selecting a partner who shares our dedication to quality and delivery,” said Malouf.
