NOIDA: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced a new residential plot plan near the upcoming Noida International Airport. It is expected to be launched in January.Under the scheme, the Authority will offer 973 residential plots in sizes 162, 183, 184, 200, 223 and 290 m². The plots will be located in sectors 15C, 18 and 24A, all close to the airport, which is expected to become operational soon.
There are 476 plots of 162 m², 4 plots of 183 m², 4 plots of 184 m², 481 plots of 200 m², 6 plots of 223 m² and 2 plots of 290 m² in this plan.
A total of 17.5% of the plots are reserved for the farmers whose land has been acquired and 5% of the plots are reserved for those who have functional industrial units in the Yamuna City area, and the remaining 77.5% of the plots are for the general public.The scheme also includes reservations for farmers and industrialists who already own industrial plots in Yamuna City and have made their units operational.
Authority CEO RK Singh said they are in the process of getting registration with UP’s real estate regulatory body, which is mandatory before launching any housing scheme.
Applicants must deposit 10 percent of the plot cost as registration fee to participate in the lucky draw, which will determine the successful allocation. YEIDA offers a one-month period for registrations, after which allotment letters will be issued and possession offered.
With the airport set to increase connectivity, the surrounding areas are expected to witness a surge in commercial activity, employment and population influx.
