Yamaha R15 gets a fresh look: control price and functions here

Yamaha India Motor launched new color schemes for its popular R15 as part of 2025 upgrade. This is done under his ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign. The updated range, which includes the R15M, R15 version 4 (V4) and R15S, comes for a starting price of RS 1.67 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The upper variant, R15M, gets a new metallic gray finish, while the R15 version 4 is now being offered in a metallic black, after a strong question, the company said.

The racing blue shade has been updated with fresh images. Yamaha has brought matte Pearl White Color to India for the first time, exclusively on the R15 V4.

Furthermore, the R15S will now be available in a secret matte black paint schedule supplemented with contrasting Vermillion wheels.

To date, Yamaha has sold more than a million R15 units in India. The bike is known for its sharp styling, track-inspired performance and strong racing DNA, according to the company.

The R15 range is driven by Yamaha’s 155cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 18.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, combined with the disilcylinder and Deltabox frame. It contains advanced functions such as Traction Control System, Assist and Slipper Clutch, Quick Shifter (on selected variants), upside down before-down forks and linked mono-cross suspension.
