WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event: Full card, date, time and how to watch

HIGHLIGHTS

  • WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event returns with four championship matches streaming exclusively on Peacock for the first time in show history
  • Cody Rhodes defends the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre as CM Punk battles Jey Uso for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship
  • The November 1 event in Salt Lake City has major implications for the title, with the potential for game-changing outcomes across multiple divisions

I had my doubts about the WWE’s ability to build something meaningful around the world Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

However, the powers that be – and two of the industry’s top stars – have done an excellent job of creating a compelling storyline for the main event. What have they done? For starters, they’ve made us believe that there’s a chance McIntyre will go there and become WWE Champion.

  • Date: Saturday November 1, 2025
  • Time: 7pm ET / 4pm PT
  • Location: Delta Center, Salt Lake City, Utah
  • How to watch: Peacock (US) / YouTube (international)

This marks an important shift for Saturday night’s Main Eventas it will be the first edition to stream exclusively on Peacock instead of NBC. The move gives WWE more freedom with the length and structure of the show, similar to their premium live events.

The Rivalry between Rhodes and McIntyre reached new heights on Friday Night SmackDown, with both men doing excellent promo work. McIntyre’s vicious Claymore Kick that sent Rhodes through the commentary table weeks ago set the tone, but it’s the psychological warfare that made this feel urgent.

Rhodes’ three-match losing streak – including his defeat to Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel – has raised legitimate doubts about the safety of his championship. McIntyre earned his keep by escaping Jacob Fatu – who was written off due to injury – and the Scottish warrior’s relentless pursuit has positioned him as a genuine threat rather than just another challenger.

The Situation of the World Heavyweight Championship developed when Seth Rollins was stripped of the title following The Vision’s betrayal and Rollins’ real-life injury. The injury created a vacancy that CM Punk and Jey Uso will now fill.

Punk, seeking redemption after his brief reign ended via Rollins’ cash-in at SummerSlam, faces an opponent whose trajectory seems predetermined: beating Punk to set up a true World Heavyweight Champion run feels inevitable. Still, Uso’s lone wolf bow and Roman Reigns’ whisper in his ear have sparked speculation about a possible heel turn that could completely flip the script.

WWE Main Event Women’s Division Showdown on Saturday night

Tiffany Strattons 302 days championship reign faces Jade Cargill in a feud where an ingredient is missing. The story feels rushed and lacks the emotional build-up typical of memorable women’s championship programs.

Cargill’s heel move on last week’s SmackDown – attacking Stratton after appearing to save her – was effective but sudden. Despite the accelerated timeline, both women represent the future of the WWE women’s division, and Cargill declaring she will “take it all” indicates she is ready for championship gold.

The Triple threat from the Intercontinental Championship promises the kind of chaos that makes these matches unforgettable. Dominik Mysterio has passed both Penta and Rusev in singles competition, and the triple threat format – no disqualification – opens the door for The Judgment Day, Los Americanos, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee to wreak havoc.

Dom must seemingly hold on, but the method is more important than the result in determining how far “Dirty Dom” will go to keep his nearly 200-day reign alive.

Potential wildcards for the main event of WWE Saturday Night

A full Jey Uso heel turn looms as Saturday’s biggest potential deflection, especially as Roman Reigns’ influence grows. There is speculation about Austin Theory’s return, although Royal Rumble may be the more strategic time.

The same forbearance likely applies to Chris Jericho’s WWE return, if it ever happens. Historically, these special events create moments that shift the stories for weeks to come.

WWE’s high stakes in Salt Lake City

Although there are only four matches on the card, this episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event could be epic. There are four titles on the line and despite the absence of Roman Reigns, John Cena, Rhea Ripley and Brock Lesnar, there is enough star power to make this event hit all the right notes.
