WWE fans, the 2026 Royal Rumble is almost here.
It’s the most unpredictable night in wrestling, and this year will be a little different as the company heads to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bringing the iconic premium live event to the world for the first time.
Recent reports have suggested that fans can expect WrestleMania-level production from this weekend’s show, which takes place about 15 months before WWE’s flagship event also comes to Saudi Arabia.
This weekend, in addition to the traditional 30-man, 30-woman Rumble matches, the entire landscape could change with AJ Styles retiring and his career on the line.
Viewers will also be treated to a huge championship battle as Drew McIntyre puts his WWE title up for grabs to start the road to WrestleMania.

When is WWE Royal Rumble 2026?
WWE Royal Rumble airs tomorrow (Saturday, January 30). The special premium live event does starting at 7:00 PM for fans in Great Britain.
How to watch WWE Royal Rumble 2026?
WWE fans in the UK can stream the Royal Rumble live or on demand via Netflix.
The streamer is the official home of WWE for most countries outside the US United Statesand for fans in the UK, with live episodes of Raw, SmackDown and NXT, and monthly PLEs such as WrestleMania and Elimination Chamber.

Who could win the 2026 Royal Rumble?
Metro’s WWE expert Alistair McGeorge gives his predictions for this year’s show.
It’s hard to predict the winners of the Royal Rumble at the best of times, but this year it seems harder than ever.
On the women’s side, Liv Morgan looks set to return to the main events, while someone like Jordynne Grace could get a huge push, and the possibility of Bianca Belair making a triumphant return from injury.
For the men, Bron Breakker is the obvious choice given his talent and the way WWE has positioned him, while letting Oba Femi shine so early would also be a real statement of intent to showcase rising stars.
Each match also offers the chance for some big surprises, with Bianca being an obvious choice, along with the rumored return of Chris Jericho.
Both names would really shake up their respective divisions, with WWE’s EST still being among the best in the world, and Jericho having a rich and storied history in the company.
Outside of the Rumbles, it feels way too early for Drew McIntyre to lose his title yet, as great as a Sami Zayn win would be, and I really think AJ Styles will lose to GUNTHER and hang up his boots.
He’s been thinking about retirement for a long time (he told me back in April 2024) and it would be fitting if he made time for this event, a decade after he made his WWE debut in the 2016 Rumble.
