WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has announced that he is preparing for an upcoming operation. In a social media post on Monday he asked his followers for their prayers.
The 16-time world champion shared the news on his X account. He posted photos that referred to his earlier health problems.

In his position, Flair was immediately about his situation. “Surgery is coming. Keep me in your prayers. It’s all fragile,” he wrote.
He recorded two photos with the message. One showed close-up tracks on his forehead, while the other was an earlier photo of surgical staples on his stomach.
The image of his forehead is a likely reference to his public battles with skin cancer. The photo of his stomach grabs back to a life -threatening health crisis that he survived in 2017.

A history of health problems for Ric Flair
Flair has been open over his health struggle over the years. He has undergone earlier procedures to remove cancer -like places of his skin.
Flair himself has often expressed a big thank you because he is just alive and healthy after the seriousness of his hospitalization in 2017. In August 2017 he was placed in a medically induced coma because of a bowel obstruction. He underwent an emergency operation so that he showed the staples in the photo.
His continuous health management would include constant treatments such as blood thinners. But even, even with these important health fights that others could permanently aside.

Flair signed a multi -year agreement with all elite struggles in November 2023, a deal that also established his Wooooo! Energy as an exclusive energy drink from AEW. His subsequent performances on the screen were mainly bound by supporting his friend and former rival, Sting, during his pension tour, culminating AEW revolution in March 2024. Since the last competition of Sting, however, Flair has not been seen regularly on AEW programming.
Flair’s Post was confronted with an immediate wave of support. Fans and fellow wrestles shared their good wishes for the legendary artist. Flair has been open with his recent Skin Cancer Battle, and now he has to deal with this setback. Let’s all hope that Flair can discuss this last setback and woooing for years to come.
