WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Women’s Chamber Match Results

The 2026 WWE Women’s Elimination Chamber match didn’t have a real favorite, largely because creative uncertainty surrounding Cargill and the WWE Women’s Championship. But that uncertainty no longer exists.

After entering the room at number 6, Rhea Ripley punched her ticket to WrestleMania 42 and a blockbuster match with Cargill. Ripley, the clear favorite, unsurprisingly took the win after blasting Tiffany Stratton with a Riptide for the elimination and the emphatic victory.

Here are the key highlights and takeaways from Ripley’s big victory in the Elimination Chamber match:

  • Kiana James and Tiffany Stratton were the first two participants. There were funny chants of “Tiffy Time” from the Chicago crowd. Early on, Stratton accidentally crashed into Raquel Rodriguez’s pod while attempting a backhandspring.
  • Asuka was entrant No. 3. James immediately attacked her when she escaped her pod. Asuka quickly countered, wreaking havoc on both Stratton and James, finishing with a double dropkick from the top rope.
  • The fourth participant was Alexa Bliss. She quickly put Asuka and James down with a series of moves, capped off by a tornado DDT on James. Stratton hit a rolling sentry and tried the PME, but Bliss stopped her and hit her with a running dropkick into the basement.
  • James catapulted Stratton into an empty capsule. Then Ripley came in at number 4 and went after Asuka with a series of clotheslines, then hit Stratton with a headbutt and launched her with a razor edge into Asuka. Bliss went for a spinning DDT on Ripley, who countered.
  • Bliss and Ripley failed a series of counter attempts, but Ripley eventually went out and attempted a Riptide. Bliss avoided it and climbed into the cage. With all four other competitors on the outside, Bliss jumped off a capsule with a Twisted Bliss to eliminate all four of her opponents.
  • Back in the ring, Bliss teased Sister Abigail about James, but Asuka spit the dreaded green mist in her eyes and James rolled her up for a three count. Bliss was eliminated first. Seconds later, Rodriguez came in at number 6 and quickly cleaned house.
  • Rodriguez punched Ripley in the cage and then bombarded her into the ring from the outside. She also hit Asuka with an outside-in fallaway slam. Rodriguez then hit James with a running powerslam that sent her crashing through the pod.
  • Back in, Rodriguez caught Asuka and hit her with a Tejana Bomb on top of James. She then pinned both Asuka and James to eliminate them at the same time. What a series for Rodriguez. Only Ripley, Rodriguez and Stratton remained.
  • Rodriguez defeated Stratton with a spinning slam for a two count. Rodriguez held Ripley’s leg captive in the chain-link cell. Rodriguez caught Stratton, who then dumped her in the ring with a modified hurricanrana. Rodriguez hit Stratton with a big boot, a fallaway slam and a spinning corkscrew elbow.
  • Rodriguez tried to move Stratton with a top rope, but Ripley jumped off the pod with a cannonball. That allowed Stratton to hit Rodriguez with the PME. Stratton pinned Rodriguez to eliminate the Judgment Day star. The crowd didn’t like seeing Rodriguez eliminated.
  • Ripley went for the Razor’s Edge, but Stratton landed on her feet and hit an Alabama Slam for two. Stratton missed a Swanton Bomb and was hit with a kick by Ripley, who hit her with a modified face-first electric chair drop. Ripley missed a shoulder tackle and hit the ring post, then Stratton hit a swanton bomb for a two count.
  • Stratton hit the rolling sentry and went for the PME, but Ripley pushed her off the top rope and into the pod. Ripley then managed to defeat the Riptide to eliminate Stratton and win the match.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Results: What’s Next for Rhea Ripley?

The absence of two notable WWE stars, Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair, from the 2026 WWE Elimination Chamber match made for quite a toss-up.

WWE names had been considered such as Flair and Tiffany Stratton as Cargill’s WrestleMania 42 opponent, likely because Belair is still recovering from finger surgery. The ideal match, especially from a storyline perspective, would have been Cargill versus Belair in a battle between former tag team partners and two of WWE’s most physically impressive stars.

But with Belair still sidelined, WWE had to go back to the drawing board in what has been a recurring theme for the WrestleMania 42 build. A slew of serious injuries to stars like Belair, Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins, combined with a lack of long-term storytelling, have really hampered the excitement of what should be WWE’s most intriguing season.

Ripley vs. Cargill is definitely a microcosm of that reality.

On paper, this sounds like a potentially epic match between two of WWE’s biggest powerhouses. In reality, though, the timing for that is just not right. Ripley is joined at the hip with Iyo Sky, both as an opponent and a tag team partner, and they must face or team with each other at WrestleMania 42.

Cargill’s reign as champion has been disappointing, marred by one serious victory lack of title defense or intriguing storylines. Yet Cargill is still portrayed as virtually unstoppable, so there are very few stars who have been built up as formidable or interesting rivals to ‘The Storm’.

Ripley is one of WWE’s biggest stars and clearly the top name in the women’s division, making it hard to imagine a scenario where she loses at WrestleMania this year, even if it is to Cargill. Still, this feels like a backup plan for a backup plan.

Ripley is loved. Cargill tries to prove that she belongs. Following Ripley’s win at the WWE Elimination Chamber, WWE put on a classic between the Immovable Object and the Unstoppable Force. Can Ripley leave WrestleMania as champion again?
