Barcelona has announced that Lamine Yamal has repeated the groin injury that he sustained last month during the international service and will miss the coming qualifications of Spain.

The 18-year-old winger, who is also excluded from this weekend’s La Liga Meeting with Villarreal, will be sidelined for up to three weeks, the club said Friday.

His involvement led to a gap between club and country, where Barcelona manager Hansi Flick claimed that the national team had not managed not a slight injury. Yamal was only able to play after taking painkillers, the German said.
