World ParaVolley is pleased to congratulate the participants who successfully completed the WPV Level I Sports Classification Course in the Pan American Region, an important step in strengthening ParaVolley across the Americas.
The course, organized and supported by the Americas Paralympic Committee, was delivered from December 14 to 18, 2025, alongside the Brazilian National Club Sitting Volleyball Championships in São Paulo, Brazil. The program brought together participants from five countries and contributed to the development of qualified classification personnel in the region.

The course was taught by experienced WPV instructors Louise Ashcroft (Canada) and Rafael Gnecco de Proença (Brazil), ensuring high-quality education based on international standards and best practices.

This achievement underlines the importance of education, recruitment and capacity building in ParaVolley. Strengthening the classification staff is an important pillar in ensuring fair competition and supporting the sustainable growth of the sport on all continents.
