“I think it was meant, I think,” Alvarado continued. “I searched for him to get his first grade 1 because it is Bill’s son. I’ve been working with him for years. So, as I said it was meant, I think.”
Alvarado led the world beater from the outer post 9 to settle in the middle of the pack, and with few rivals who wanted to take a commander under the wire for the first time, it was the clumsy starting jeweler who switched the rail to take the lead and mark an opening quarter mil in 23.92 seconds.

Mott was in accordance with the multiple degree 1-winning rider.
“It was a great journey. You always worry about a bit wide on the grass, but the horse just needs a clear run and Junior has found a hole to turn at home and I mean, the horse is real game,” said Mott. “He was a bit on the outside on the way and really dug well, so that’s all she wrote.”
Rispoli praised the effort of the Alessandro Botti trained jeweler, who came in Baden with Adrie de Vries on 31 May in the process of Group 3 Jra Derby in the IJzers in the IJzers.
“I think he was great. He tends to be a drain horse,” explained Rispoli. “He can do that seriously, like Baden-Baden last time, but Adrie de Vries is a great driver, and he tried to treat it as much as possible if he could do the last time. He still got it. I think if this race was a mile and an eighth, I would probably have a nice horse.
