Wor Flags have released an official statement ahead of tonight’s match (see below).

Wor Flags is releasing details of the display that will be on display before kick-off.
Newcastle United will be looking to seal the victory that would take them to the quarter-finals of the League Cup for the fourth year in a row under Eddie Howe.
Tonight’s Wor Flags show, however, focuses on a different and more poignant theme.
Official statement from Wor Flags via their social media – October 29, 2025:
‘Despite almost a fortnight until Remembrance Day, this year’s packed fixture list sees Newcastle United pay tribute to our brave service men against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup tonight.
With this in mind, we will mark the occasion with our own display of two banners, as we reflect on those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
We will remember them.’

Mike Ashley’s departure marked Wor Flags’ return to competitions, as they ended their boycott.
The pre-match flag will again become part of the match day routine.

Hundreds of black and white hand waving flags
Larger custom designed flags with one and two poler wafers
Large text banners with messages of support
Foils, surfers and custom-made tifos
