Westfield, Ind.-Jon Rahm successfully defended his Liv Golf Season Points title Sunday without winning an event all year round, to close an 11-under 60 before he lost a play-off to Sebastian Munoz at the first extra hole in the Indianapolis event.

Munoz won two days after he became the first player to shoot 59 with a double bogey. The Colombian player – with Rahm who gets balls in the driving range – Bird the last two holes in regulation for a 65 to match Rahm at 22 at the bottom of the club in Chatham Hills.

Rahm also lost last week on the first extra hole outside of Chicago and fell in a three-way play-off to Dean Burmester with Josele Ballester. On Sunday, Munoz defeated the Spanish star with a birdie on the par-4 18th in the play-off.

Rahm took the seasonal point title of Joaquin Niemann, a five -time winner this season. Niemann shot a 66 to bind for the fourth at the age of 17, his first top 10 finish of the year he did not win.

Munoz led Torque GC to the team event championship. Koppel ended at 64 to break the LIV record of 53.

Ian Poulter Birdied four of his last five holes for a 67 to bind the 17th and prevent relegation of the Tour. Majesticks teammate Henrik Stenson was relegated and missed a 20-foot Birdie Putt on the last hole that would have kept him on the Tour and left Poulter out.
