PI seems to be stuck. What can bring him out of hibernation?
However, Pi Network’s native token cannot say the same. It has been stuck in consolidation for several weeks, without any clear indication whether it will be able to break out of the $0.20 and $0.22 range. That’s why we decided to ask ChatGPT what it would take to finally make PI disappear from this rather boring trading zone.
What’s holding you back, PI?
The core team behind the controversial project has already released its first major update of the year, which promises to reduce the time required for PI payment integrations to under ten minutes. However, this had no influence on the underlying value.
ChatGPT believes there is a reason for this (lack of) madness. First, it said the supply glut is crushing momentum. Unlike most other liquid altcoins, PI faces heavy unlock pressure. As more tokens become transferable, any upward attempt quickly ends in sales by early participants who had waited a long time for their assets.
Data from PiScanUnlock shows that an average of more than 4.5 million tokens will be released over the next 30 days, which is expected to increase immediate selling pressure.
ChatGPT also said there is no external capital inflow. Most altcoin rallies have been fueled by new capital flowing out of BTC, but PI remains largely isolated. Finally, the AI noted that the ecosystem’s growth has not translated into price gains.
So, what do you need, PI?
The AI solution believes PI will need “one or more significant catalysts, not just routine updates” to break out of the $0.20-$0.22 range. It stated a clear, unavoidable use case that creates real demand, such as at least one of the following:
You might also like:
- Large-scale adoption by sellers using PI as a means of payment
- A commonly used PI-native application that requires the token to function
- Network mechanisms that reduce circulating supply (burns, locks, shutdowns)
Second, ChatGPT outlined the expansion of liquidity beyond the core community. This doesn’t necessarily mean a listing from a major exchange like Binance or Coinbase, but it does require capital from outside the PI ecosystem.
Finally, the AI solution said that PI needs a shift in supply as markets respond to strong changes in such dynamics. If the core team introduces slower release schedules, long-term lock-in incentives, or deflationary mechanisms, even modest demand can suddenly have a much larger price impact.
