The Knights won their first two games in Nashville against the sounds (72-58) this week, but they no longer had steam and lost the last four.
Outfielder Dominic Fletcher, 27, gave the knights a big spark, and went 7-from-24 with a Homer, a triple, two walks and a stolen base in his only attempt. Fletcher also picked up seven RBIs, which led the team comfortably. Fletcher has been a reliable source of value for the knights and placed a .263/.319/.459 sloping line in 101 games, all with Charlotte. Fletcher has also offered a solid defense in midfield, where most of his playing time took place in 2025.

Would you believe it? The Birmingham Barons actually lost a series. I wasn’t sure if we would see that again. The most recent loss of serial from Birmingham was at the viewpoints of 1-6 July, so it was a while ago. This week the Smokies (60-64) broke the line, but the barons are on their way to the late season regardless of.
Right field player Wilfred Veras, 22, was very difficult for opposing pitchers to stay with base. Veras struck 10-from-23 with a triple, a two-squeeze and a walk. In addition, Veras collected eight RBIs, while the second highest total was two (done by three players). This is not a season to remember for Veras, who has taken a step back. After cutting .267/.319/.424 (118 WRC+) in 128 games in Double-A last year, Veras cut this season .217/.296/.334 (87 WRC+) in 100 games. H0Wever, Veras made a step in the right direction against the Smokies.
The pitching staff also had quite a few strong performance to help the barons remain competitive in this series. Riley Gowens, Tyler Schweitzer, Shane Murphy and Hagen Smith all performed admirable during their start.

This team caught some fire because the dashboard has won nine of their last 12 games. The dashboard went on the road and took four out of six against Rome (54-68) to almost bring itself to .500 in the second half.
Caleb Bonemer, 19, was promoted to High-A at the end of last week, and he did not leave it at the higher level. After Bonemer has won five weekly prizes in his last seven weeks in Kannapolis, he is 1-out-1 in Winston-Salem. This week Bonemer hit 6-out-18 with two gay people, a triple, two doubles, four walks and a stolen base in his only attempt. This big week resulted in a 1,344 Ops, and most of his time in defense took place on the third basic position, which he defended firmly. It will be difficult to find new words to describe Bonemer’s excellence this season. Bonemer cuts .281/.400/.458 (147 WRC+) while he usually played short stop in Kannapolis, and Bonemer was even more dominant in his first week in Winston-Salem.
Start -world Christian Oppor, 21, made two starts and he was fantastic in both. In total, Opor threw nine shutout -innings, and he turned 11 while he allowed only five hits along the way. Opor placed a 2.42 ERA in 22 1/3 innings in Kannapolis before he was promoted in May, and after this week his era is 3.43 in 60 1/3 with the dashboard.

The Cannon Ballers ended the month strongly and gathered five victories in six games against Salem (52-72).
First Honkman Anthony Depino, 22, was an important reason for the big week of the Cannon Ballers. Depino finished 8-out-20 with a Homer, three Doubles and two stolen bases without being caught. Depino also picked up seven RBIs, because he was productive with runners at the base. The White Sox set up Depino in the seventh round of this year’s version, and he doesn’t waste time before he has an impact. Depino has been reliable and placed a .250/.384/.338 sloping line, with the possibility of reaching the basics during his first 80 professional impacts.
